Lamp life in two operating modes

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation. Switching to economy mode extends the rated life to 3,000 hours, reducing the frequency of replacements for users who can accept lower brightness. The lamp undergoes ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

Check projector compatibility and version

Verify that your Mitsubishi projector accepts the ES10U module, identified by the manufacturer part number VLT-EX100LP. The supplier notes that several OEM and compatible versions exist, so confirm which version matches your service requirements before ordering. Ensure the projector lamp compartment accommodates a 250W P-VIP unit.

Questions about this item

How often will the 250 W Ushio P-VIP bulb need replacing?

Expect 2 000 hours in Normal mode or 3 000 hours in Economy mode before a new lamp module is required.

What limit appears first during long sessions — brightness drop or heat?

Brightness declines gradually as the 250 W lamp ages; the rated life of 2 000 to 3 000 hours is the practical limit.

How much fan noise and heat does the 250 W lamp add when the projector runs all day?

The 250 watt lamp produces typical high-brightness heat; the projector’s own cooling system handles airflow and sound.
