Genuine Osram P-VIP 280W lamp module

The Mitsubishi EX53U replacement lamp ships as a complete housing with a new Osram P-VIP 280W bulb inside. It matches the original VLT-XD520LP specification and fits the projector without extra assembly. Installers can swap the module in minutes and return the unit to service immediately.

Two economy settings extend usable hours

Running the lamp in normal mode delivers 2000 hours of operation before replacement is due. Switching to economy mode stretches that figure to 3000 hours, reducing the frequency of downtime for maintenance. The dual-life rating lets operators balance brightness against total cost of ownership for each installation.

ISO 9001 manufacturing and 180-day coverage

Every unit is built to ISO 9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition voltage, appearance, connections and run-time. The lamp draws a steady 280 watts during operation with no additional power figures supplied. An 180-day warranty period backs the module against early failure.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise does the 280 W Osram P-VIP lamp add during all-day use?

The lamp draws 280 W, so the projector’s cooling system will run at the level designed for that wattage; normal and economy modes offer 2,000 or 3,000 hours of life.

Which Mitsubishi projector models accept the VLT-XD520LP housing without extra parts?

The module fits the EX53U projector directly; no additional cables, mounts or adapters are required for installation.

Will this replacement lamp work reliably in an older EX53U that has run previous bulbs for thousands of hours?

Yes, each unit is built to ISO 9001 standards and tested for ignition, voltage and run-time, so it performs like the original lamp in an aging projector.
