Genuine Compatible Projector Lamp 330W

This is a new replacement projector lamp module built for Mitsubishi projectors that accept the GX-8100(BL) part number. It ships as a fully assembled 330W UHB bulb inside its housing so installers can swap it without extra tools. It suits technicians and AV managers who need a drop-in unit that matches the original form factor.

Lamp life and power envelope

The lamp delivers 2000 hours in normal mode and 4000 hours in economy mode at its rated 330W. Those figures are the practical limits of the UHB light source; running the projector outside the specified modes will reduce usable life. The module contains no ballast or driver electronics beyond what the projector itself supplies.

Correct part number match

The single specification that decides fitment is the GX-8100(BL) designation, which cross-references to Mitsubishi model VLT-XD8000LP. If the projector service manual lists a different lamp code this module will not install or ignite correctly. Buyers who need a different wattage or connector layout must source the exact part their hardware specifies.

Questions about this item

Which version of the GX-8100(BL) lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Three OEM versions exist: the original bulb maker's lamp, the Mitsubishi-sold lamp, and an alternative OEM lamp. A compatible version uses genuine OEM parts at a lower price. All meet ISO 9001 standards.

What does the 330W rating mean for brightness and heat in my Mitsubishi projector?

The 330W UHB bulb delivers the light output the projector was designed for. Expect normal-mode life of 2,000 hours or economy-mode life of 4,000 hours.

Does the VLT-XD8000LP housing fit my Mitsubishi projector without extra parts?

Yes. The module arrives fully assembled with bulb and housing matched to the VLT-XD8000LP specification, so it installs directly.
