A 275W replacement lamp module with Ushio SHP bulb and housing, rated for 2,000 normal or 4,000 economy hours, ready for Mitsubishi projectors
The Mitsubishi LF-8300 lamp ships as a complete 275W Ushio SHP bulb inside its housing so technicians can swap it without handling bare glass. It is aimed at facilities teams and AV integrators who maintain Mitsubishi projectors using the VLT-XL6600LP part number and want a factory-assembled unit that drops straight in.
Running the lamp in economy extends rated life to 4000 hours compared with 2000 hours at normal brightness, reducing the frequency of ladder work and module purchases. The 275W draw is fixed by the projector’s ballast, so power infrastructure must already support that load; the lamp itself offers no dimming below the two built-in modes.
Every unit is tested for beam performance, voltage, connections and run-time under ISO 9001 controls, so hot restrikes and colour drift stay within spec. The pre-aligned housing eliminates focus adjustment after installation, and the standard connector layout matches the original VLT-XL6600LP pin-out for a secure, tool-free seat.

All four versions are built to ISO9001 quality checks and fit the LF-8300 projector; the OEM Ushio and OEM Mitsubishi units come from the original bulb makers, the OEM compatible uses a different OEM bulb supplier, and the third-party compatible uses genuine OEM parts at a lower cost.
The lamp draws 275 watts, delivering the lumen output the LF-8300 was designed for while generating the corresponding heat that the projector’s cooling system is built to handle.
The lamp plugs directly into the LF-8300’s proprietary lamp connector; the projector’s ballast regulates power to 275W and enforces the 2,000-hour normal or 4,000-hour economy runtime limits.
