Replacement lamp for Mitsubishi projectors

The Mitsubishi LX-7850LS module fits projectors that use the VLT-XL6600LP part number and ships as a complete 275W Ushio SHP bulb inside its housing. Installation requires no separate lamp alignment because the assembly is pre-assembled and tested to ISO 9001 standards. The lamp is new and ready for immediate use in compatible Mitsubishi models.

Suited for owners needing a direct swap.

This unit suits anyone whose Mitsubishi projector specifies the LX-7850LS or VLT-XL6600LP lamp code and who wants a ready-to-install OEM replacement. Buyers with projectors from other manufacturers or different Mitsubishi lamp codes cannot use this module. Shops looking for bare bulbs without housings should look at something else.

Rated life of 2000 to 4000 hours

The lamp delivers 2000 hours in normal mode and up to 4000 hours in economy mode, giving a clear service-interval target for maintenance planning. This single endurance figure determines whether the replacement cycle matches the projector's expected duty cycle. No other specification overrides this interval for scheduling purposes.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 275W Ushio SHP bulb add during all-day projection?

The lamp draws 275 watts, so expect a noticeable warmth around the exhaust vent after several hours; run the projector in Economy mode to lower the thermal load and extend the bulb life to 4,000 hours.

Which Mitsubishi projector models accept the VLT-XL6600LP housing so I know mine will fit?

This module is built for the Mitsubishi LX-7850LS projector; verify your unit matches that model number before ordering.

Will the lamp ignite reliably on an older LX-7850LS whose ballast has seen thousands of hours?

Each unit is tested for ignition, voltage and run-time to ISO 9001 standards, so it should strike cleanly even on an ageing ballast.
