Direct replacement lamp

The Mitsubishi UD8400U lamp module ships as a complete 330W UHB bulb inside its housing, matching the VLT-XD8000LP part number. It is built for owners of compatible Mitsubishi projectors who need a new light source without separate bulb handling. The unit is ready to install straight from the box.

Check projector model and lamp hours

Verify that your projector accepts the UD8400U or VLT-XD8000LP designation before ordering. Note the current lamp-hour counter so you can reset it after installation and track the 2,000-hour normal or 4,000-hour economy ratings. Ensure the projector is cool and unplugged during the swap.

Pre-assembled housing saves installation time

Because the bulb comes factory-seated in its housing, you avoid aligning a bare lamp and reduce the risk of contaminating the optical path. The module meets ISO 9001 production standards and undergoes ignition, voltage and run-time checks. A 90-day warranty and 30-day return window cover early-life failures.
