Replacement Lamp for Mitsubishi Projectors

The Mitsubishi VLT-XD430LP module ships as a complete 230W bulb-and-housing assembly, ready for direct installation in compatible Mitsubishi projectors. It targets owners who need a factory-specification light source without separate handling of the bare lamp. Buyers who require a higher-wattage module or a different connector layout cannot use this unit.

Genuine NSHA Bulb and ISO9001 Build

Each unit centres on a new Ushio NSHA 230W bulb mounted in its original housing, delivering the rated 2,000-hour service life under standard operating conditions. The supplier confirms ISO9001 manufacturing controls and per-lamp testing for beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time. No additional software, cables or mounting hardware are included in the package.

2,000-Hour Rating and 230W Power Draw

The lamp’s practical limit is its 2,000-hour rated lifespan at the fixed 230W power level; actual hours will vary with projector usage patterns and environmental factors. Projectors not designed for a 230W NSHA module cannot accept this lamp, and there is no provision for dimming or alternative power modes. Installers must verify exact model compatibility before purchase.

Questions about this item

When will the 230W Ushio NSHA bulb inside this VLT-XD430LP module need replacing?

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of use before brightness drops to half its initial output, so plan a replacement around that mark.

What component limits continuous operation during long presentation sessions?

The 230W lamp itself sets the thermal limit; its rated 2,000-hour life assumes proper cooling cycles, so extended non-stop runs will accelerate wear.

How much heat and fan noise should I expect when this lamp runs all day?

A 230W lamp generates significant heat; the projector’s cooling fans will run at higher speeds continuously, producing noticeable airflow noise in a quiet room.
