Mitsubishi WD-82840-LAMP DLP replacement lamp with Osram bulb

Direct-fit lamp for WD-82840

This replacement lamp and housing assembly is built for the Mitsubishi WD-82840 DLP television. It arrives new and ready to install, using an Osram bulb inside the original housing. The unit restores factory brightness without requiring any modifications to the set. It is intended for owners who need a like-for-like replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life.

150/180 W rating with 6 000-hour design

The lamp operates at a 150/180 W 1.0 E22H specification and carries a rated lifespan of 6 000 hours. That headroom covers typical daily viewing for several years before output drops below usable levels. Heavy all-day use will consume the hours faster, while occasional evening use stretches the interval. The 240-day warranty period covers early failures but does not extend the rated hour limit.

Replaces the original Mitsubishi lamp module

This assembly replaces the Mitsubishi WD-82840-LAMP part directly, matching the original housing and connector layout. The jump is worth it when the TV dims, shows a lamp warning, or fails to strike. It is not for owners seeking higher brightness than the factory spec, a different colour temperature, or a bare bulb without the housing.
