Direct replacement lamp

The Mitsubishi XD205U lamp module arrives as a complete 205W UHP bulb pre-fitted in its housing, matching the original VLT-XD205LP specification. It is built for Mitsubishi projectors that require this exact lamp type and is supplied in new condition ready for immediate installation.

Rated operating life

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3000 hours of use, while economy mode extends the rating to 4000 hours. Brightness and colour consistency will gradually decline as those limits are approached, so plan a replacement before critical presentations or extended daily operation.

Compatibility check

Confirm that your projector model accepts the VLT-XD205LP lamp code before ordering. The module is designed for a single lamp slot; projectors requiring dual-lamp configurations or a different wattage will not accept this unit.

Questions about this item

Which XD205U lamp version should I pick among the OEM and compatible options?

Choose the OEM version from the original bulb maker for exact factory performance, the Mitsubishi-branded OEM for brand assurance, the alternate OEM for equivalent specs from a different supplier, or the compatible version for a lower cost using genuine OEM parts.

What does the 205W rating mean for brightness and heat in my Mitsubishi projector?

The 205W UHP bulb delivers the designed light output for the XD205U; expect the same lumen level as the original lamp and similar cooling requirements inside the projector chassis.

How does the lamp life differ between Normal and Economy modes?

Normal mode provides 3000 hours of operation, while Economy mode extends it to 4000 hours by reducing power and brightness.
