Ready-to-install Mitsubishi XD420 lamp

This new Mitsubishi XD420 replacement projector lamp arrives as a fully assembled 230W bulb and housing module, so it fits straight into compatible Mitsubishi projectors without extra assembly. It is aimed at schools, offices and home users who need a quick, reliable swap when the original lamp reaches end of life.

Consistent output across thousands of hours

The Ushio NSHA 230W bulb is rated for 2000 hours in normal mode and up to 3000 hours in economy mode, giving predictable brightness over extended daily use rather than a brief peak. Each unit is built to ISO 9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time to maintain steady output through the full rated period.

Direct replacement for a spent original module

It replaces the factory lamp that shipped with the projector, removing the dimming and colour shift that appear as the old bulb ages. The jump is worth it when the current lamp has passed its rated hours or when image quality no longer meets the needs of presentations, lessons or home viewing.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 230W lamp produce during long sessions?

The lamp draws 230W; in Normal mode it lasts 2,000 hours and in Economy mode 3,000 hours, so heat output scales with the chosen brightness setting.

Does the XD420 module arrive fully assembled so I only need the projector itself?

Yes, the bulb and housing come pre-assembled, letting you install the unit directly into a compatible Mitsubishi projector without extra parts.

Will this replacement work in the same Mitsubishi models that used the original XD420 lamp?

The module is built to match the original XD420 specifications, so it fits the same Mitsubishi projectors that shipped with that lamp.
