Wide-band antenna for mobile networks

The RM-WLF-1C-BLK-12 covers 694-894 MHz and 1700-2700 MHz, supporting 700 MHz, GSM, AWS, 2.4 GHz WiFi and 2.6 GHz WiMAX bands. It suits vehicle installations needing a single low-profile antenna for multiple cellular and wireless services. Buyers who require a different frequency range or a permanent through-hole mount should look elsewhere.

Magnetic mount with short RG58 lead

A magnetic base allows quick placement on a metal roof or panel without drilling. The antenna ships with a 1 ft RG58 cable terminated in an SMA Male connector for direct attachment to compatible routers or modems. No power supply or active electronics are involved, so there is no thermal load, fan noise or power draw to consider.

Questions about this item

How do I install the magnetic-mount RM-WLF-1C-BLK-12 antenna and which step do people miss?

Place the magnetic base on a clean, flat metal surface for a secure hold; the step often missed is ensuring the mounting area is free of dirt or paint so the magnet grips properly and the 1 ft RG58 cable with SMA Male connector can reach the device without strain.

What maintenance or replacement will the RM-WLF-1C-BLK-12 antenna need over time?

Inspect the 1 ft RG58 cable and SMA Male connector periodically for wear, corrosion or loose fit; replace the cable assembly if the shielding is damaged or the connector no longer seats firmly, as this affects performance across the 694-894/1700-2700 MHz bands.
