What it is and who it serves

This handheld device emits a 25 kHz ultrasonic tone that only dogs can hear. It is intended for owners and walkers who want a portable way to interrupt unwanted barking or deter an approaching dog. The built‑in LED indicator shows when the ultrasonic output is active. It also provides a beep function and a multi‑mode flashlight for low‑light situations.

Deciding specification

The single factor that determines suitability is the 25 kHz ultrasonic frequency, which targets canine hearing without disturbing people. If a trainer needs a different frequency range or a remote‑activated collar, this unit will not meet that requirement. Buyers who need adjustable power levels or a rechargeable battery should look elsewhere.

What the extras change

Three selectable ultrasonic patterns (irregular, dialing, stable) let the user vary the stimulus so a dog does not become habituated. A dedicated beep button supplies an audible cue for recall or attention. The torch button cycles through three brightness modes, turning the device into a practical flashlight for evening walks.
