Industrial hearing protection

Moldex 507-6900 Pura-Fit earplugs are single-use, corded foam plugs rated at 33 NRR for high-noise environments. The tapered bullet shape eases insertion and creates a secure seal inside the ear canal. Bright green colour allows quick visual compliance checks. Each dispenser box contains 100 pairs.

Suited for extended wear in hot or humid conditions

The smooth, PVC-free foam stays comfortable during long shifts and works under hard hats, face shields or safety glasses without interference. The attached cord lets the plugs hang around the neck when not in use, reducing loss. Workers who need to swap plugs frequently or who cannot have a cord near moving machinery should choose an uncorded style instead.

Noise reduction rating of 33 NRR

This single figure defines the attenuation level for the product and is the primary criterion for matching the plug to your noise-exposure assessment. Verify that 33 NRR meets the required protection level for your specific workplace before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 33 NRR rating is effective after inserting the Pura-Fit plugs?

A proper seal with the tapered bullet design reduces industrial noise to the rated 33 NRR; perform a fit check by cupping hands over ears — sound should not change noticeably.

What comes in the 507-6900 box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains 100 pairs of corded bright green foam plugs; no dispenser or carrying case is included, so buy those separately if needed.

Which version of the 6900 model should I choose for a dusty workshop?

The corded Pura-Fit version lets plugs hang around the neck between uses, reducing loss and contamination compared with uncorded styles.
