What the product is

Moldex 6450 Jetz reusable vinyl ear plugs come in a bulk box of 50 pairs. Each pair uses a flanged, push-in design and carries a Noise Reduction Rating of 27 dB under ANSI S3.19-1974. The green TPE material is washable and not metal-detectable, making them suited for general workplace use.

Who these suit and who should look elsewhere

Workers needing reusable, cordless hearing protection with a 27 dB rating will find these convenient. Buyers who require a higher attenuation level, a corded option, metal-detectable plugs, or smaller pack quantities should consider other models.

Capacity and headroom

The 50-pair bulk pack supplies a team or a single user for extended periods. The 27 dB rating handles typical industrial noise such as machinery or power tools. In very high-noise environments the attenuation may be insufficient and double protection could be necessary.

Questions about this item

What insertion method does the Moldex 6450 Jetz use and does it require a fitting tool?

The plugs use a push-in insertion method with their flanged vinyl tips; no separate fitting tool is needed.

Will the uncorded green 27 dB plugs interfere with other PPE such as safety glasses or hard hats?

Their low-profile flanged design sits inside the ear canal, so they generally clear headbands, spectacle arms and helmet suspensions.

How can I confirm the 27 dB rating is achieved after I put them in?

Perform a fit check by cupping your hands over your ears; if noise levels do not change noticeably, the seal is effective.
