Moldex 7990 P100 Filters for 7000 7800 9000 Series

These magenta bayonet filters carry a NIOSH P100 rating and come in a two-pack. They are designed for workers who need particulate protection with Moldex 7000, 7800 or 9000 series respirators. The filters are not suitable for gas or vapour hazards, so buyers who need combined cartridges should look elsewhere.

Bayonet mount clicks onto compatible facepieces

Alignment tabs on the filter seat into the respirator groove; a quarter-turn locks it. The most common error is stopping before the audible click, which leaves a leak path. No tools are required, but users must perform a fit check each time the filters are attached.

P100 media maintains rated efficiency during

Loading resistance rises gradually as particulate accumulates, so breathing effort increases predictably rather than spiking. The filters contain no chemical sorbent, so they do not saturate from humidity or organic vapours. Replace when breathing resistance becomes uncomfortable or per your site respiratory programme.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 7990 filters are sealing correctly on my Moldex 7000 series respirator after installation?

Perform a user seal check by inhaling gently; the facepiece should collapse slightly and no air should leak around the edges, confirming the bayonet connection is secure and the P100 media is filtering properly.

What comes in the 7990 pack and do I need to purchase the respirator facepiece separately?

The package contains two magenta P100 bayonet filters only; the compatible Moldex 7000, 7800 or 9000 series respirator facepiece is sold separately.

Which Moldex respirator series — 7000, 7800 or 9000 — should I choose for use with these 7990 filters?

All three series accept the 7990 bayonet filters; select the facepiece model based on the fit, comfort features and head-harness style you prefer for your application.
