Compact speaker for daily use

The MOMAX BS6 is a 2.0 portable Bluetooth speaker that weighs 85 grams and measures 2.36 in by 1.47 in by 2.36 in. It runs on Bluetooth 5.3 with a 33‑foot range and delivers 3 watts of active power through a 40 mm driver. The IPX6 rating protects it from splashes and shower streams.

Thermals noise and power

Passive cooling keeps the unit silent during playback because there are no moving parts apart from the driver cone. The 3‑watt amplifier draws little current, so the built‑in battery sustains up to 12 hours of music before a three‑hour USB‑C recharge is needed.

Magnetic mount and stereo pairing

A magnetic base attaches to any ferrous surface such as a fridge or car panel, and the flat underside doubles as a stand for iPhone 12 to 16 models. Two BS6 units can link via True Wireless Stereo for a wider 360° soundstage without cables.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the magnetic base to a metal surface and what is the common mistake?

Snap the speaker onto any flat metal surface such as a fridge or car panel; the step users miss is ensuring the surface is clean and dry so the magnet holds securely.

What charging routine keeps the battery healthy after months of use?

Recharge via USB‑C every few weeks even when unused, avoid full submersion despite IPX6 rating, and store at room temperature to preserve the 12‑hour playtime.

At what volume level does the 3‑watt output start to distort during a long session?

The 40 mm drivers stay clean at moderate levels; pushing near maximum for extended periods introduces audible distortion before the 12‑hour limit is reached.
