What it is

The MOMAX BS8D is a compact Bluetooth 5.3 portable speaker with a built-in magnet for attaching to metal surfaces. It offers balanced audio and a wide soundstage in a pocket-sized design. IPX4 splash resistance makes it suitable for bathroom or outdoor use. True Wireless Stereo pairing lets two units create left and right channels.

Deciding specification

Bluetooth 5.3 provides a stable wireless link up to 33 Ft (10 m) and the battery delivers up to 12 hours of continuous playtime. Charging is handled through a Type-C port. The IPX4 rating protects against water splashes from any direction. These combined figures determine whether the speaker matches your daily listening routine.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers wanting a lightweight, magnet-mount speaker for showers, golf carts or desk use will find the size and 12-hour runtime practical. Shoppers who need deeper water immersion than IPX4 allows, or who require longer battery life for multi-day trips without recharging, should consider other models.
