Three-Channel 1080p Dash System

The Momento MD-8000 M8 records 1080p Full HD video at 30 frames per second across up to three camera channels. A Sony STARVIS image sensor on the front unit delivers clear low-light footage. Built-in Wi-Fi connects the system to the Momento smartphone app for live view and settings control. ECO parking-mode technology conserves battery power while the vehicle is parked.

Drivers Who Want Multi-Angle Coverage

This system suits motorists who need front, cabin and rear views from a single recorder with app-based playback. It is not for buyers who want 4K resolution, higher frame rates, built-in GPS logging or a rear camera included in the box. Fleet operators requiring cloud upload or driver-facing AI alerts should look at a different platform.

Up to Three Video Channels

The headline specification is support for three simultaneous video channels from one main unit. That channel count decides whether the MD-8000 M8 matches a vehicle’s desired coverage. The package includes a 32 GB microSD card and adapter for immediate recording.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the single-camera kit or add rear and interior modules for full 3-channel coverage?

The box contains the front camera and a 32 GB card; the recorder supports up to three channels so you can add rear and interior cameras later if you want full surround recording.

What does the 1080p 30 fps spec actually deliver on the road?

The front camera records Full HD at 30 frames per second using a Sony STARVIS sensor, giving clear daylight detail and strong low-light performance for licence-plate reading at night.

How does the Wi-Fi link work with the Momento app?

The built-in Wi-Fi connects the dash cam to your smartphone so you can view live footage, download clips and change settings without removing the 32 GB micro SD card.
