Bath mat for fast-drying safety

The Drytomita bath mat uses porous diatomaceous earth to absorb water and dry in about one minute, keeping floors dry and reducing slip risk. Its graphite grey finish suits contemporary bathrooms and the solid stone construction will not scratch tile or stone surfaces. The mat is made from 100% naturally occurring materials including wood fibres and hydrated lime.

Rapid absorption decides suitability

The single specification that determines fit is the mat's ability to dry in roughly one minute after contact with water. If a household needs a surface that stays wet for long periods or prefers a soft textile feel, this stone mat will not meet that requirement. Buyers who want a plush, fabric surface should look elsewhere.

Handles daily showers with minimal upkeep

The 24 x 15 x .4 inch mat comfortably handles repeated daily showers for a household, releasing moisture quickly between uses. A supplied sandpaper sheet restores surface porosity when absorption slows, extending usable life. It runs out of effectiveness only if the pores become deeply clogged without periodic sanding.
