RJ45 Strain Relief Boots 50 Pack

This pack supplies fifty blue RJ45 strain relief boots for protecting Ethernet cable terminations. The colour coding helps installers identify cable runs at a glance. Network technicians and home lab builders who terminate their own patch cables will find the quantity convenient for larger projects. Buyers needing different colours or smaller quantities should look elsewhere.

Snag-Free Protection for Daily Handling

The flexible boot shields the connector latch and cable junction from bending stress during routine patching and cable management. By absorbing movement at the termination point, it reduces the risk of broken tabs and intermittent connections in active racks or desk runs. No special tools are required; the boot slides on before crimping and stays in place through repeated insertions.

Questions about this item

How do I fit these 107248 boots on a Cat45 cable without splitting the latch?

Slide the boot over the cable before crimping the RJ45 plug; once the connector is terminated the boot cannot pass over the latch, so pre‑installation is the only step that avoids re‑work.

Will the 50 blue boots degrade or need replacement after repeated patch‑panel changes?

The flexible PVC resists cracking from frequent insertions; replace a boot only if the cable jacket shows wear or the latch tab breaks, otherwise the original 50‑pack lasts the life of the installation.
