PDU and UPS connection

Connect computers, servers and other network devices to a PDU, UPS or compatible C19 outlet. The cord has a female IEC 60320 C13 plug on one end and a male IEC 60320 C20 connector on the other. Mate the C13 receptacle to your device and plug the C20 end into high-output equipment. Model 124209 is supplied new in black.

Ideal for rack power distribution

Suits administrators wiring servers or network gear into rack-mounted PDUs or UPS units that present C19/C20 inlets. Builders who need a C14 inlet or a different connector gender should look at other cables. The 3 ft length fits typical rack spacing but will not reach distant floor-mounted power sources.

IEC 60320 C13 to C20 interface

The single specification that decides fit is the connector pairing: a female C13 mating to your device and a male C20 plugging into the power source. Verify both sides of your installation use these exact IEC 60320 types before ordering.

Questions about this item

What does the 14 AWG rating mean for actual current delivery?

The 14 AWG conductors are rated for 15 A, matching the cord's 15 A specification for continuous use with servers or PDUs.

Which IEC 60320 connectors does this cord use and what equipment do they fit?

One end is a female C13 that plugs into a device inlet; the other end is a male C20 that connects to a PDU or UPS with a C19 outlet.

How much space do the moulded connectors need behind the rack?

Each moulded connector extends beyond the cable jacket, so allow extra depth for the C13 and C20 bodies when routing between rack rails.
