Right-Angle C13 Cord for Tight Spaces

This Monoprice 142085 cord connects a NEMA 5-15P wall plug to a 90-degree IEC 60320 C13 inlet. The 0.6096 metre length reduces clutter behind desks or inside racks. It suits PCs, monitors, scanners and printers that use a standard C14 panel connector.

Suits Cramped Back-Panel Clearances.

Builders who need the cable to exit sideways from a crowded power strip or UPS will benefit from the angled head. Installations that require more reach between outlet and device should choose a longer lead instead.

90-Degree C13 Connector Decides Fit

The right-angle IEC 60320 C13 end is the single feature that determines whether this cord solves your clearance problem. If your equipment has straight C14 inlets with ample rear space, a standard straight cable works equally well.

Questions about this item

Is the 2-foot length right for a desktop that sits close to the wall outlet?

At 0.6096 metres the cord keeps slack to a minimum while still reaching a nearby socket or UPS.

What does the 14 AWG rating mean for a PC or monitor drawing normal power?

The 14 AWG conductors handle the typical 13-amp North American circuit without overheating.

How does the 90-degree C13 connector fit a standard C14 inlet on my power supply?

The right-angle IEC 60320 C13 plugs straight into the male C14 panel connector and routes the cable flat against the chassis.
