1U Blank Panel for 19in Racks

The Monoprice 107261 is a black painted steel panel that occupies a single 1U slot in a standard 19in rack. It covers unused space to hide cabling and maintain a tidy appearance. The panel protects internal equipment from dust and accidental contact. It is designed for server rooms, network closets and home labs.

Replaces improvised covers or empty slots

Install this panel when open rack units expose cables or allow unwanted airflow. It upgrades a messy rack into an organised enclosure without tools. The jump is worth it whenever a professional finish or proper airflow management is required. It holds the space until future expansion is needed.

Suits installers finishing a rack build

Network engineers and hobbyists who want a clean, uniform look will appreciate the simple fit. Buyers who need vented airflow through the panel or a depth-adjustable design should look at something else. Anyone requiring a coloured finish other than black must choose a different product.

Questions about this item

Will the 107261 blank panel fit my standard 19 inch rack?

Yes, it is built for a standard 19 inch wide rack and occupies exactly 1U of vertical space.

How do I mount the 107261 panel, and what is the step most people miss?

Align the panel with the rack's threaded holes, insert cage nuts if they are not already present, then secure with four screws; the missed step is forgetting the cage nuts on unthreaded rails.

Will the black painted steel finish on the 107261 need repainting or rust protection over time?

The durable black painted steel resists corrosion under normal indoor conditions and does not require scheduled repainting or additional rust protection.
