DB9 Mini Gender Changer

The Monoprice 1186 adapter joins two DB9 male cables or ports in a compact form. It suits technicians and hobbyists maintaining legacy serial or industrial equipment. The small footprint fits tight panels where standard changers cannot.

Lifetime warranty coverage

Monoprice backs the 1186 with a lifetime warranty, giving long-term confidence for permanent installs. The mini body leaves minimal cable strain but offers no room for thumbscrews, so it relies on friction fit alone.

Female-to-female pin-through

Straight-through wiring passes all nine pins without crossover, matching standard serial pinouts. Buyers needing null-modem crossing or gender reversal to male ends must source a different adapter.
