Four-shelf A/V stand for home theater

The Monolith 127678 is a four-shelf audio stand built for home theater and entertainment systems. Its open-air layout gives components maximum airflow and easy access to rear connections. Black powder-coated steel tubes and satin-finished MDF shelves create a rigid, acoustically inert platform. The modular design lets you use only the tiers you need.

Each shelf supports up to 75 lbs

Every shelf is rated to hold 75 lbs, so you can place heavy amplifiers, receivers or turntables without sag. The steel support tubes include one longer set that creates a taller tier for oversized components. This weight capacity is the single figure that decides whether the stand matches your equipment.

Passive cooling with no fan noise

Open shelves allow natural convection to carry heat away from components, so there are no fans to generate noise or draw power. The powder-coated steel and MDF construction adds no active thermal load to the room. Equipment stays cool during extended use without adding audible or electrical overhead.

Questions about this item

How much weight can each shelf actually hold once I load it with an amplifier and a streamer?

Each shelf is rated for 75 lbs and uses acoustically inert MDF with a satin finish, so a typical amplifier and streamer combination will sit well within that limit.

What does the open-air design mean for heat and cable access in practice?

The open shelving lets air circulate freely around every component and gives clear access to rear-panel connections without doors or panels to remove.

How does the modular tube set let me fit a taller receiver on one tier?

One pair of steel support tubes is longer than the others, creating a single taller bay that can accommodate a higher-profile receiver while the remaining shelves stay at standard spacing.
