Mobile Office Cabinet with Seat

The Monoprice 137880 is a powder-coated steel file cabinet on casters that includes a top cushion for temporary guest seating. Rounded corners give a modern profile while removing sharp edges. Two upper drawers and a lower file drawer sit on smooth, quiet glides and lock together for security. An organiser tray helps sort small items.

Lockable Drawers with File Capacity

The bottom drawer accepts standard file folders and the two upper drawers hold everyday supplies. All three drawers operate on quality glides and secure with a single lock. Casters allow full mobility even when the cabinet is fully loaded at 55.00 lb.

Suits Open-Plan Desks Needing Flexible Seating

Buyers who want a mobile pedestal that doubles as an occasional chair will find the integrated cushion useful. Offices requiring fire-rated storage or a higher drawer count should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much floor space does the 19.50-inch wide cabinet occupy in a real office?

The cabinet measures 19.50 inches wide, so it fits beside a desk or under a standard work surface without dominating the room.

What do the casters and drawer glides actually handle day to day?

Dual-wheel casters roll the fully loaded 55.00-pound unit smoothly, and the quality glides keep both drawers opening quietly even when the bottom drawer holds hanging files.

What clearance is needed for the rounded corners and seat cushion to work?

Rounded corners eliminate sharp edges in tight layouts, and the top cushion turns the cabinet into a temporary seat without requiring extra room beyond the cabinet footprint.
