An eight-port gigabit switch adds wired connections for computers, consoles and streaming boxes with plug-and-play setup and silent fanless operation
This unmanaged switch adds eight 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports to a home or small-office network. It targets users who want a simple wired upgrade for gaming consoles, streaming boxes, and computers without configuring software.
The 16Gbps non-blocking fabric handles full line-rate traffic across all eight ports simultaneously. Auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX work with Cat5e or better cable up to 100 metres, so devices at the far end of a room stay at gigabit speed.
No moving parts mean the unit runs completely silent, making it suitable for living-room media cabinets or bedside desks where noise would be noticed. The compact 5.3-inch width also fits tight wall-mount locations.

Yes, the switch supports 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds and IEEE 802.3ab, so Cat5e cables up to 328 feet will negotiate Gigabit links automatically.
The front panel shows power status plus a link/activity LED for each of the eight RJ45 ports; a solid or blinking port LED means that port has an active 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps connection.
The switch includes an external power adapter; the compact 5.3-inch chassis has keyhole slots for wall mounting, but screws and anchors are not supplied.
