15-foot Toslink cable for home theater

This 15 ft Toslink digital optical audio cable connects soundbars, AV receivers, game consoles and TVs using the standard S/PDIF interface. Full-sized Toslink male connectors on both ends carry multi-channel audio without electrical interference. A 5.0 mm outside diameter makes routing behind furniture straightforward. The cable is sold new with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

Gold-plated ferrule resists corrosion over time

The connector tips feature gold-plated ferrules that protect against oxidation during long-term use. Molded strain-relief boots absorb bending force at the junction where the cable meets each plug. This construction reduces the risk of fiber fracture when the cable is routed through tight spaces or moved occasionally. Optical transmission remains stable because the light path is not affected by electromagnetic fields.

15 ft length sets the maximum device separation

The fixed 15 ft length determines how far apart the source and receiver can be placed. Buyers who need a longer run or a shorter cable for a desktop setup cannot adjust this product. The cable supports only optical S/PDIF audio; it does not carry video, Ethernet or power signals.

Questions about this item

Does the 5.0 mm diameter and molded strain relief keep the Toslink connectors from loosening after long daily use?

The 5.0 mm jacket and molded strain relief protect the cable-to-connector junction, reducing flex fatigue that can loosen Toslink plugs over time.

What ports must my source and receiver have for this 15 ft cable to carry audio?

Both devices need a standard square Toslink (S/PDIF) optical port; the cable has a full-size male Toslink plug on each end.

Will the gold-plated ferrule on this 15 ft cable mate reliably with legacy Toslink equipment?

The gold-plated ferrule resists corrosion on the connector tip, helping maintain a clean optical path when connecting to older Toslink ports.
