Studio Reference Headphones 600070

These Monoprice SR Studio 600070 headphones are closed-back reference monitors built for recording and music production. The 50 mm XXL membrane drivers deliver 95 dB sensitivity across a 10 Hz to 36 kHz frequency response without exaggerated bass. At 1.33 kg they provide 28 dB isolation to reduce bleed into microphones.

Suited for critical listening, not portable use

Engineers who need neutral sound for mixing, mastering and track monitoring will benefit from the flat response and high isolation. The weight and closed-back design make them less practical for commuting or casual mobile listening. Buyers who want Bluetooth connectivity or a lightweight travel headphone should look elsewhere.

50 mm driver with 95 dB sensitivity

The 50 mm XXL membrane driver combined with 95 dB sensitivity determines how loudly and cleanly the headphones reproduce the full 10 Hz to 36 kHz range. This specification decides whether the monitors reveal the detail required for professional recording and mixing work.

Questions about this item

What type of audio source do I need to connect the 600070 headphones for recording and mixing?

The 600070 headphones require a device with a standard headphone output such as an audio interface, mixer, or controller to drive the 50mm drivers at 95dB sensitivity.

Can I use the SR Studio 600070 alongside older studio monitors without colouration?

The 10Hz to 36kHz frequency response without exaggerated bass gives a neutral reference that matches older flat monitors for consistent mixing decisions.

How can I verify the 600070 is isolating properly after putting them on?

The closed-back design provides 28dB isolation; you should notice a clear drop in ambient noise and no microphone bleed when recording near sensitive mics.
