Montech HS01 reversible mid-tower

The Montech HS01 is a black ATX mid-tower case built from SPCC steel and tempered glass. It accepts ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and provides fourteen expansion slots for flexible card placement. The reversible layout lets the whole interior flip to the opposite side for desk positioning.

Chimney airflow and vertical GPU support

A mesh front panel feeds bottom intake while top exhaust creates a natural chimney effect. The case supports three 120 mm fans at the bottom, front and top plus two at the rear. Radiator clearance reaches 360 mm on top and 120 mm at the rear and bottom. Rotatable PCIe slots enable a vertical graphics card without extra brackets.

Clearance limits and drive capacity

Maximum graphics card length is 420 mm, CPU cooler height is 175 mm and power supply length is 200 mm. Two internal 3.5 inch bays and two 2.5 inch bays handle storage. The relocated PSU area works with Back-Connect motherboards for cleaner cable routing. Check your cooler, GPU and PSU dimensions against these limits before ordering.

Questions about this item

How often will the front mesh panel and bottom intake need cleaning to keep airflow strong?

The mesh front panel and bottom intake draw air directly into the case, so dust builds up on the filters. Remove and rinse the magnetic filters every few months, or more often in dusty rooms, to maintain the chimney-effect cooling path.

With a 420 mm graphics card and a 360 mm top radiator installed, which dimension hits its limit first?

The 420 mm maximum GPU length is the tighter constraint; a 360 mm radiator fits in the top, but long triple-fan cards leave only a few millimetres of clearance before the front panel.

How loud and hot does the case get when all thirteen fan mounts are populated and the system runs all day?

Noise and temperature depend on the fans you choose and their speed curves; the case itself adds no active cooling, so select quiet PWM fans and tune curves in BIOS for the acoustic and thermal profile you prefer.
