Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Keyboard

The Montech MKey PRO is a 75% TKL mechanical keyboard built for gaming and productivity. It connects via Bluetooth 5.2, 2.4 GHz wireless, or USB-C wired modes. Hot-swappable sockets accept 3-pin and 5-pin switches for easy customization. Pre-lubed Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown switches provide a tactile feel with a smooth keystroke.

Ideal for Customisation-Focused Users

This keyboard suits enthusiasts who want VIA and QMK support for deep key remapping and macro programming. The gasket mount and PBT keycaps deliver a premium typing experience. It is not for users who require a dedicated numpad or a full-size layout. Buyers needing optical switches or a non-tactile linear feel should consider other options.

Tactile Brown Switch Feel

The pre-lubed Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown switches are the deciding specification. They offer a noticeable tactile bump without an audible click, balancing gaming speed with typing feedback. This specific switch type determines whether the keyboard matches your preferred actuation style.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.4 GHz dongle need a free USB-A port or does it plug straight into the board?

The keyboard connects wirelessly via 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, or wired USB-C, so a USB-A port is only required for the 2.4 GHz receiver.

How loud are the Brown switches and does the gasket mount keep the case cool during long sessions?

Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown switches are tactile and pre-lubed for quiet operation, while the gasket-mounted design absorbs vibration and limits heat buildup.

What do I need to remap keys or update firmware on the MKey PRO?

VIA and QMK support let you remap keys and flash firmware over USB-C using any computer with a web browser.
