1200 W countertop blender with 60 oz pitcher

The Montel Williams JLA-8 is a 1200 watt countertop blender that uses eight speed settings to process whole ingredients. Its six stainless steel blades handle both wet and dry blending tasks in a 60 ounce BPA-free pitcher. The unit also functions as an emulsifier, juicer and food processor for hot soups or cold ice cream.

Home cooks wanting one appliance for blending

This blender suits households that want a single machine for smoothies, sauces, hot soups and frozen desserts. The 100-recipe collection helps users get started quickly. Buyers who need a compact personal blender or a unit with preset programmes should look elsewhere.

1200 watt motor with eight variable speeds

The 1200 watt motor drives six stainless steel blades across eight selectable speeds. This power level determines whether the blender can handle tough ingredients such as ice, nuts and fibrous vegetables in a single batch.

Questions about this item

What counter space do I need for the 18.20-inch tall, 13.10-inch wide, 11.00-inch deep base?

Allow at least 18.20 inches of vertical clearance and a footprint of 13.10 by 11.00 inches on a stable, level surface near a power outlet.

Can I still use my existing standard blender jars with the 1200-watt motor base?

No, the motor base is designed only for the included 60-oz BPA-free pitcher with its integrated six-blade assembly.

How do I verify the eight-speed control and emulsifier function are operating correctly?

Run each of the eight speed settings with water; the blade should spin smoothly at every level and the emulsifier should produce a uniform mixture without separation.
