Moondrop

Moondrop CHU IEMs 10mm Dynamic Driver No Mic

SKU CH-AEZB-EYPEM

In-ear monitors with a 10 mm dynamic driver, N52 magnet and 0.035 mm CCAW coil delivering 120 dB/Vrms sensitivity and 28 Ω impedance

  • Product typeHeadphone
  • N52 Nd magnet and ultra-thin CCAW coil drive high energy conversion for detailed sound
  • 10mm composite cavity with phased waveguide reproduces VDSF target response across full dynamic range
  • Alloy casting external cavity provides durable zinc-alloy housing with precise acoustic coupling
  • Patented anti-blocking acoustic filter maintains balanced output and prevents imbalance over time
  • 120 dB/Vrms sensitivity at 28 Ω impedance delivers loud, clear audio from portable sources

Moondrop CHU 10mm Dynamic IEMs

The Moondrop CHU is a pair of wired in-ear monitors built around a single 10mm dynamic driver. A titanium-coated diaphragm, N52 neodymium magnet and ultra-fine CCAW voice coil combine to deliver a measured frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz with low distortion. The zinc-alloy shell houses a patented anti-blocking acoustic filter designed to maintain consistent performance over time.

Listeners who want a neutral, reference-style tuning

These IEMs suit listeners who want a neutral, reference-style tuning aligned with the VDSF target curve without needing digital signal processing. The 28-ohm impedance and 120dB/Vrms sensitivity allow them to be driven cleanly by most portable sources. Buyers who require an inline microphone, wireless connectivity or active noise cancellation should look at a different product because this model omits those features entirely.

10mm dynamic driver with titanium diaphragm

The 10mm dynamic driver with titanium-coated diaphragm and N52 internal magnetic circuit is the specification that decides whether this is the right part. It determines the 20Hz to 20kHz effective bandwidth, the 28-ohm load and the 120dB/Vrms sensitivity that define how the CHU sounds and what sources it pairs with. If your system or taste calls for a different driver topology or impedance profile, another model will be more appropriate.
