It also covers MacBook Air 13-inch Retina models from 2018 through 2022. Buyers must verify the model number on the bottom of their laptop against the supported list before ordering.

Protection and Stand Features

The case uses waterproof PU leather with shock-absorbing construction to guard against dust and drops. A magnetic closure keeps the laptop secured in place while all ports remain accessible through precise cut-outs. An integrated kickstand on the bottom raises the device for improved typing and viewing angles.

Portfolio Design Constraints

Two elastic straps at the top corners hold the cover open and prevent it from falling back during use. The folio-style cover adds .7 inch of thickness and 10.5 ounces of weight to the laptop profile. This sleeve is not compatible with any laptop model outside the specified MacBook series.

Questions about this item

How do I install the case on my MacBook and which step causes the most issues?

Snap the top and bottom shells onto the laptop, then align the model number on the base with the listed Axxxx codes such as A3113 or A2338; the magnetic closure seats automatically, but forcing it before the shells click fully is the common mistake.

What part of this sleeve will wear out first and need replacement?

The two elastic corner straps that hold the lid open for the stand function lose tension over time; the PU leather shell and magnetic latch show minimal wear under normal use.

At what point does the stand function become unstable during extended typing sessions?

The kickstand relies on the 0.7 inch case thickness and the corner straps for rear support; on slick surfaces the base can slide after prolonged pressure, so a rubberised mat helps.
