Questions about this item

Will the opening hood, doors and trunk hinges loosen over time?

The model uses diecast metal hinges on the hood, doors and trunk; they are fixed assemblies with no serviceable parts, so no scheduled maintenance is required.

What stops the 8.75-inch body from warping on a sunny shelf?

The zinc-alloy diecast chassis resists heat-related deformation far better than plastic, so normal indoor temperatures will not cause the 1/24 scale body to warp.

Does the candy-blue metallic paint fade or off-gas after months in a display case?

The factory-applied metallic finish is sealed with a clear coat that is stable at room temperature; it produces no odour and shows no measurable fading under typical indoor lighting.
