Questions about this item

How do I display the 1/24 scale model without damaging the opening hood and doors?

Handle the diecast body by the chassis when placing it on a shelf; the hood and doors swing on small metal hinges that can bend if forced open past their detent.

What parts of the 1969 Ford F-100 may need replacement after long-term display?

The real rubber tyres can dry out and crack over years; keeping the model away from direct sunlight and heat slows this ageing.

What limits how long I can keep the hood and doors open on this diecast truck?

The thin hinge pins are not designed to hold the panels open indefinitely; prolonged stress will cause them to sag or snap.
