Questions about this item

How do I display the 1/24 scale El Camino SS 396 without damaging the opening doors?

Place the model on a stable shelf with at least 7.5 inches of length clearance; open each door slowly by the hinge edge, not the handle, to avoid stressing the diecast hinges.

What parts of the 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 model will need replacement after long-term display?

The real rubber tyres may harden or crack over time; they are the only wear item on this diecast model.

What is the first limitation I will hit if I handle the 1/24 diecast El Camino frequently?

Repeated opening of the doors can loosen the hinge pins, so handle the model by the body rather than the doors to preserve alignment.
