Scale and Authenticity

This 1/24 scale diecast replica captures the 1971 Mercury Comet GT in red with black stripes. It features a detailed interior and exterior plus real rubber tires. The officially licensed model includes opening hood and doors. It suits adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts seeking accurate vintage muscle car representation.

Construction and Display Limits

Diecast metal construction with plastic parts provides a solid feel for shelf display. The 7.25 inch length fits standard display cases yet the fixed wheels and non-steering front end limit diorama posing. The sealed packaging preserves mint condition but prevents hands-on play or functional testing of moving parts.

Handling and Preservation

The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened box measuring approximately 7.25 by 2.75 by 2.125 inches. No batteries or power are required so there is no heat, noise or electrical draw. Minimal care involves occasional dusting; the diecast body resists wear but the paint and plastic trim can scratch if handled roughly.
