1979 Ford F-150 Custom Pickup 1/24 Scale

This officially licensed diecast model replicates the 1979 Ford F-150 Custom Pickup in 1/24 scale. It features a silver metallic finish with side stripes, detailed interior and exterior, and real rubber tires. Opening doors reveal the cabin. Made of diecast metal with some plastic parts, it arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Replaces generic toy trucks

Collectors seeking an accurate representation of the 1979 Ford F-150 will value the true-to-scale detail and official licensing. The model upgrades a display shelf from anonymous vehicles to a specific American classics series piece. It is not for buyers who want a playable toy with moving suspension or electronic features, or those needing a larger scale for diorama integration.

Stable display piece for long-term shelf presence

The diecast metal construction provides a solid feel that resists bending during handling. Real rubber tires maintain their shape without flat-spotting under the model's weight over time. Paint and stripe tampo printing hold up to ambient light exposure better than sticker applications. The sealed box preserves condition for collectors who keep packaging intact.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 1/24 scale 1979 Ford F-150 model so I can check if it fits my display shelf?

The model measures approximately 8 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches high, so measure your shelf clearance against those figures.

How do I open the doors on this diecast truck without damaging the hinges?

Grip each door at the outer edge and pull outward gently; the hinges are moulded into the diecast body and require only light pressure.

Will the rubber tyres on this collectible truck degrade or need replacement over time?

The real rubber tyres can harden or crack after several years; store the model away from direct sunlight and heat to slow that process.
