Motorola HKLN4487A 1-Wire Surveillance Earpiece

This single-wire earpiece connects directly to Motorola CLP series two-way radios for discreet communication. It is built for professionals in retail, hospitality and security who need to transmit and receive without holding a handset. The integrated push-to-talk microphone and acoustic tube keep conversations private in busy environments. Hands-free operation lets staff stay focused on their tasks while staying connected.

Easy clip-on setup with radio-specific connector

The inline clip secures the cable to clothing so the earpiece stays in place during active shifts. Because the connector is made for the CLP series, it plugs in without adapters or configuration. The clear acoustic tube and rubber eartip slide on for extended comfort, though the tube can loosen if pulled sharply. Users should check the connection before each shift to avoid intermittent audio.

Single-wire design handles daily voice traffic

The combined microphone and push-to-talk unit manages routine transmit and receive duties across a full workday. It covers standard voice communication in indoor and outdoor settings where quiet coordination matters. The single-wire layout limits flexibility for users who want separate microphone positioning or dual-ear monitoring. Buyers needing wireless freedom or multi-channel audio will need a different solution.
