Six-radios bundle for industrial teams

The Motorola RMU2040 6-pack supplies six UHF two-way radios built for security, maintenance, distribution and construction crews who need reliable voice coordination across a 250 000 square-foot site. Each unit ships with a lithium-ion battery, drop-in tray charger, holster and power supply so the team is ready to operate immediately.

Replaces consumer walkie-talkies lacking business

Consumer models share public channels and lack the 99 UHF business-exclusive frequencies and 219 PL/DPL codes that keep conversations private. The jump is worth it when interference from other users disrupts safety-critical communication or when six customisable codes are needed to separate work groups.

Sustained audio clarity in high-noise shifts

A 1500 mW speaker drives output that remains intelligible over machinery and wind through an entire shift. Military-spec sealing and accelerated life testing confirm the chassis resists dust, shock and vibration day after day without the audio degradation common in lighter-duty handsets.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box so I can mount and charge each RMU2040 on site?

Every radio ships with a belt holster, a lithium-ion battery, a power supply and a drop-in tray charger for desk or bench mounting.

Which steps are required to activate the 99 UHF business frequencies on the RMU2040?

Turn the radio on, select one of the 99 UHF channels, then match the PL/DPL code (choose from 219 preset or six custom codes) on all six units so they hear each other.

What parts will need replacement after extended daily use of the six-pack bundle?

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery in each handset will eventually lose capacity and should be swapped for a fresh pack; the holster clip can also wear out and is replaceable.
