Made for daily listening

The Motorola XT500+ BLACK is a new pair of over-ear wireless headphones built around 40mm drivers and a circumaural fit. Bluetooth connectivity pairs with smartphones, tablets, laptops and PCs. A built-in microphone handles calls without reaching for the device. The lightweight 190g frame and cushioned ear cups target commuters, students and office workers who want all-day comfort.

Bluetooth range and battery limits

Wireless freedom stops at 32.81 ft from the source, so walls or distance can cut the signal. Continuous communication time reaches 22 hours, while general playback stretches to 25 hours before a recharge is needed. Charging the embedded battery takes up to 2 hours via the supplied USB cable. No wired fallback is mentioned, so a flat battery means silence until plugged in.

Fold-flat design eases setup

The compact fold mechanism lets the headphones collapse into a bag or drawer without tools or software. Pairing follows standard Bluetooth steps on the host device. Common issues include forgetting to charge before a long trip, leaving the headphones outside the 32.81 ft range and expecting audio to continue, or pressing the fold hinges too hard and stressing the plastic joints.

Use 25 hours for music playback and 22 hours for continuous calls; both come from the same built-in battery.

What does the 40 mm driver size mean for everyday listening?

The 40 mm drivers produce dynamic bass and stereo sound that the manufacturer describes as studio-quality.

How far does the Bluetooth link reach before it drops?

The wireless range is rated at 32.81 ft, so the connection stays stable within that distance.
