Pen, Ink and Graffiti Stain Remover

This water-based formula targets permanent marker, ballpoint pen, highlighter, stamp pad and fountain pen inks. It also lifts nail polish and correction fluid from a variety of surfaces. The 22 oz trigger spray is ready to use straight from the bottle. Suitable for office, school and facility maintenance tasks.

Sustained cleaning performance

The low-VOC liquid penetrates stains on hard surfaces such as ceramic, porcelain, wood, countertops and dry-erase boards. It remains effective on softer materials including cotton, nylon and wool upholstery or clothing. Because it is water-based, it does not leave harsh chemical residues during extended contact. Repeated applications are possible without damaging the listed substrates.

Build and daily handling

The trigger spray head delivers a controlled stream for spot treatment or broader coverage on walls, furniture and street signs. The 22 fl oz bottle provides enough volume for multiple cleaning sessions. Unscented formulation avoids adding odour to indoor spaces. Not intended for buyers who need a solvent-based remover for industrial coatings or heavy tar deposits.

What surfaces or tools do I need to have on hand before using the 40901 remover?

The spray works directly on ceramic, porcelain, wood, cotton, nylon, wool, countertops, dry-erase boards, clothing and upholstery; no additional equipment is required beyond a cloth for wiping.

Will the .7 quart formula damage older finishes on vintage furniture or delicate fabrics?

It is designed to be safe on a wide range of materials including wood and delicate fibres such as wool and cotton, so existing finishes and older textiles are not harmed when used as directed.
