Outdoor Weatherproof TV Mount

The Mount-It MI-396 is a full-motion wall mount built for outdoor installation. Electroplating, extended powder coating and stainless-steel hardware resist corrosion, rain and humidity. A 90-hour salt spray test confirms suitability for coastal environments. It fits screens from 37 to 80 inches and supports up to 110 lbs.

VESA Pattern Compatibility

The mount accepts VESA patterns of 200x200, 300x200, 400x200, 300x300, 400x300, 400x400 and 600x400 millimetres. This range covers most TVs in the 37 to 80 inch class. Verify your display's mounting hole spacing before purchase. The steel construction and stainless fasteners maintain alignment under load.

Motion Range and Clearance

Full motion articulation provides 120-degree swivel, +10/-20-degree tilt and extension from 2.5 to 20 inches off the wall. These adjustments let you optimise viewing from seating areas around a patio or deck. Powder-coated steel arms move smoothly while the stainless hardware withstands repeated outdoor use.

Questions about this item

What does the 120° swivel range actually give me when the TV is mounted outside?

The arm rotates 60° left and 60° right from centre, letting you angle the screen toward different seating areas on a patio or deck.

Which VESA patterns does the mount accept and what does that limit?

It fits 200×200, 300×200, 400×200, 300×300, 400×300, 400×400 and 600×400 mm patterns, so any TV with those hole spacings up to 110 lbs can be attached.

How much clear depth behind the TV is needed for the minimum 2.5" position?

At its closest the mount sits 2.5" from the wall, so allow at least that much space plus the TV's own depth for cables and ventilation.
