Flip-Down Ceiling TV Mount MI-4225

The MI-4225 is a ceiling-mounted bracket that folds flat against the surface when the screen is not in use. It accommodates flat-panel televisions from 23 to 55 inches and supports up to 44 lbs. The removable VESA plate fits patterns from 75 x 75 mm up to 400 x 400 mm for quick attachment.

Suits Slanted Walls and Multi-Use Spaces

This mount works well where wall mounting is impractical, such as slanted ceilings, conference rooms, bedrooms or a home gym. The arm tilts up to 90 degrees and swivels ±45 degrees, with 3.5 inches of height adjustment to fine-tune the viewing angle. Buyers who need a fixed wall bracket or a mount for screens larger than 55 inches should consider other options.

Check Ceiling Structure and VESA Pattern

Verify that your ceiling joists or concrete can support the combined weight of the mount and television. Confirm the screen’s VESA hole pattern falls within the listed range of 75 x 75 mm to 400 x 400 mm. Ensure there is enough clearance below the ceiling for the 3.5-inch height adjustment and the full tilt and swivel range.

Questions about this item

My TV uses a 200 x 200 VESA pattern — does the plate on the MI-4225 match that?

Yes, the extendable VESA plate covers 75 x 75 through 400 x 400 mm, so a 200 x 200 pattern fits directly.

I want to keep my current ceiling joists — will the 3.5-inch height adjustment let me clear them?

The pole telescopes 3.5 inches, giving you a small vertical range to align the mount below the joists.

After installation, how do I confirm the swivel locks at the full 45-degree angle?

Rotate the screen until it stops; the detent engages at +/- 45°, and the TV holds that position without drifting.
