Wrist Rest Pad and Track Dimensions

A built in wrist rest pad supports the forearms during long typing sessions to reduce strain. Questions about this item

Will the track or mounting hardware need periodic tightening or replacement?

The kit includes all mounting hardware for a one-time install; the manufacturer covers parts for five years, so no scheduled replacement is expected.

What is the maximum travel distance before the tray stops sliding?

The steel track is 14.125 inches long, limiting forward and backward travel to that distance.

Does the platform add noticeable heat or noise during all-day use?

It is a passive metal-and-plastic tray with no motors or fans, so it produces no noise or heat of its own.
