Space-Saving Keyboard Tray

The Mount-It MI-7137 mounts beneath a desk to reclaim surface area and promote neutral wrist posture. It suits office workers and home users who type for long periods and want a compact, adjustable platform. Buyers needing a standing-desk converter or a dual-monitor arm will not find that function here.

Manual Height and Tilt Control

A simple knob adjusts the tray through a 5.5 inch vertical range and sets the tilt angle for personal comfort. The 17.25 inch track allows the unit to glide in and out smoothly without motors or gas springs. No power draw, fan noise or electronic components are involved.

Integrated Wrist Rest and Reversible Mouse Pad

A soft wrist pad runs along the keyboard edge to reduce pressure during extended typing sessions. The separate mouse platform measures 7 by 9.25 inches and mounts on either side for left- or right-handed use. All mounting hardware is included for a straightforward installation.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 17.25 inch track to my desk, and what step do people often miss?

Attach the 17.25 inch track to the desk underside using the supplied hardware; the step many skip is pre-drilling pilot holes so the screws bite securely without splitting the wood.

What part of the MI-7137 will need replacement first with daily use?

The soft wrist-rest pads on the keyboard platform and the 7 by 9.25 inch mouse pad wear down before the metal track or height-tilt mechanism.

At what point does the 5.5 inch height adjustment stop moving smoothly under constant changes?

Repeated knob turns can strip the plastic threads inside the height-adjust collar, so the 5.5 inch travel range begins to bind or slip after heavy long-term use.
