300mm Butterfly GT Wheel

The Moza RS047 is a 300mm butterfly-style steering wheel built for GT sim-racing enthusiasts. Its carbon fibre-reinforced composite case and TPE rubber grips provide a rigid, tactile hold during hard cornering. Ten programmable short-travel RGB buttons and two thumb encoders put every control within immediate reach. The wheel targets drivers who want a dedicated GT rim without extra bulk.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Hall-sensor magnetic paddles with dual-clutch function deliver consistent, repeatable bite points over long stints. The 0.25mm button travel keeps actuation crisp even when hands are sweaty or fatigued. Three rotary encoders and two joysticks retain precise detents throughout extended sessions. The strengthened quick-release structure resists flex under high torque loads.

Open Ecosystem Compatibility

The wheel connects natively to all Moza bases and to third-party wheelbases via the Moza Universal Hub Kit PC adapter. This single specification decides whether the rim fits your existing hardware. Buyers without a compatible base or the separate adapter cannot mount the wheel. Moza Pit House Control Suite handles button mapping and RGB configuration on PC.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 300mm butterfly wheel generate during long sessions?

The wheel itself has no motor or fan, so it produces no heat or noise; all thermal and acoustic output comes from the wheelbase you pair it with.

What must I already own to use the KS wheel on a PC?

You need a compatible wheelbase — either a MOZA base or a third-party base plus the MOZA Universal Hub Kit PC adapter — and the MOZA Pit House software installed on the PC.

Will the quick-release and button layout work with an older MOZA wheelbase I already have?

Yes, the Real Racing QR system fits every MOZA wheelbase, and the 10 RGB buttons, 3 rotary encoders, 2 thumb encoders and 2 joysticks are fully mappable in Pit House on any supported base.
