Eagle 2 Laboratory Pod 1/48 Scale Kit

This 1/48 scale plastic model kit reproduces the Eagle 2 Laboratory Pod from the 1975-1977 Space: 1999 television series. The box contains 300 detailed parts moulded in white and includes season-two pilot figures plus colourful decal artwork. New shoulder pods, engine bottles and piping add further authenticity to the officially licensed release.

Paint Cement And Skill Level Required

Assembly demands plastic cement and paint, neither of which are supplied in the box. The kit is rated Skill 2, so modellers should be comfortable with multi-part sub-assemblies, seam filling and careful decal application. Soft spring-action landing gear is included, but the completed model measures approximately 22 inches long and will need adequate display space.

Upgrade From Smaller Scale Eagle Kits

Builders who have completed smaller-scale Eagle kits will find this 1/48 release a substantial step up in parts count and finished presence. The jump is worthwhile when you want the full 22-inch silhouette with season-two detailing and vintage-style packaging in a single, officially licensed box.
