What it is

The MRGLAS 90W car charger plugs into a cigarette lighter socket and delivers up to 90 watts total through two ports. It suits drivers who need to power a phone and a tablet simultaneously on long journeys.

Build and daily use

An all-metal body dissipates heat better than plastic and resists scratches, while the thumb-sized housing sits flush so it never pops out or blocks the lighter cover. A pull ring makes removal easy, and a built-in smart IC guards against overcurrent, short circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature and overpower.

What it replaces and when to upgrade

It replaces any single-port or lower-wattage charger that cannot fast-charge two devices at once. The jump is worth it when you regularly carry both a USB-C and a USB-A device and want each to reach 89 percent in roughly 30 minutes from empty.

Questions about this item

What total output does the 90 W dual-port charger deliver across its USB-C and USB-A ports?

The USB-C port supplies up to 45 W via Power Delivery and the USB-A port up to 45 W via Quick Charge 3.0, giving a combined maximum of 90 W.

What physical space does the thumb-sized metal body require in the cigarette-lighter socket?

The all-metal housing sits flush with the outlet so it does not protrude or block the lighter cover, and a pull-ring is integrated for easy removal.

How is the charger installed and what common error should be avoided?

Insert the metal body straight into the cigarette-lighter socket until it seats flush; forcing it at an angle can prevent proper contact.
